SOPD Raising Money to send 40 Athletes to National Summer Games 2017

SOPD are raising money to send a team of 40 athletes to Sheffield  for the National Summer Games in August 2017. The whole club are involved as we need to raise £29,000.

Some of the ways we are raising money:

Nathan Evans who had a coffee morning for SOPD, this very well attended event with scrumptious cakes, bric-a-brac stall, name the teddy, draw and craft stall raise an amazing £280. Well done Nathan for all your hard work in organising this enjoyable event.

David Aiken who at his recent 40th birthday party asked his guests for donations for his named charities in lieu of presents. He raised an amazing £350 for SOPD thank you David for this selfless gesture and the generosity of his guests. The party was great as well!!! Well done David from everyone at SOPD.

Harewood House Success!

Once again our Cafe at Harewood House community centre went well. A huge thank you to our fantastic team of volunteers, Santander Plymton branch who helped every day, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s Plymstock branch for their donations, and not least the people of Plympton who supported the cafe making it the success it was.

We will be back again in December looking forward to seeing you all again then.
